This took ages. Computers are supposed to be intuitive, but every single application seems to have the buttons, tabs, options and functions in different places or buried under a heading that doesn't give me a clue that is where to look. Is my brain different from the rest of the world? Kept trying to put the avatar into the profile but the boxes for images said this was an invalid code. Finally went back and read course directions after first just putting it in as a post. Good news: I learned how to delete and edit a post after it was published!

The blog my painter cousin, Joren, and I created last November was my first experience and it was kinda like using MS Word.

Yeah, persistence. And I found reading directions to be amazingly helpful, but if I didn't have the MINITEX handy dandy guide, I'd be up a creek! I guess that's why I'm taking the class. The purpose of this blog is to record my reactions and discoveries as I take the class. Maybe later I'll make one about the dogs.
